Metrix：10000 Proximity Probe&Cable 7200 Series (5&8 MM)

overview:

The 7200 series framework monitoring instrument has been phased out. However, the 7200 series proximity probes 

(sensors) are still used on equipment in many factories. The proximity probe, cable, and preamplifier or transmitter 

are configured as a separate series and cannot be mixed with other series (such as 33003300XL or 3000). The length 

of the proximity probe and cable must be compatible with a system length of 9 meters or 5 meters.

All proximity probes/sensors have third-party approved certification, comply with API670 specifications, and have 

ProxMatch ™  Component coding and ATEX approval. These proximity probes (sensors) can be interchangeable with 

7200 series sensors.

Approaching probe&extension cable selection:

1. Choose a probe suitable for mechanical requirements and use it in conjunction with the same series of extension 

cables 

and preamplifiers or transmitters.

2. Select an extension cable from probes and electronic products of the same series.

3. Given a probe length, select a cable length such that the sum of the probe and cable lengths equals the system 

length.

4. Choose with or without armor.
