The speed sensor of AI-TEK (formerly known as AIRPAX) is divided into active and passive speed sensors Hall effect
sensors.
The speed sensor produced by AI-TEK Instruments is a variable reluctance sensor that utilizes variable reluctance
technology. The internal structure of the sensor consists of a magnet, magnetic sheet, and coil. The sudden or
rapid change of magnetic field will induce an AC voltage signal inside the coil, and the induced voltage is in the
shape of a sine wave. AI-TEK mainly uses three techniques, namely variable magnetic resistance, magnetoresistance,
and Hall effect, to convert motion into electrical signals.
The AI-TEK speed sensor from Artek meets the requirements of harsh industrial, automotive, and aviation environments,
and the AI-TAK speed sensor can reliably work continuously for many years under certain conditions. And it is suitable
for vibration, impact, high temperature, humidity, oil stains, and corrosive environments. Most speed sensors are
specifically designed for high temperatures, high and low speeds, different measured objects, or timing purposes.
The AI-TEK passive magnetic speed sensor can provide signals inside aircraft engines with temperatures close to 425 ℃
or in car wheels with high impact and vibration. The advantages of these sensors are: due to the absence of movable
parts and non-contact, they have a long service life, operate independently, and can be used in almost any environment.
