3300 XL 8mm Eddy Current Sensor System

The 3300 XL 8mm eddy current sensor system consists of the following parts:

3300 XL 8mm probe

3300 XL extension cable

3300 XL preamplifier

The system outputs a voltage signal proportional to the distance between the probe end and the surface of the measured conductor, which can measure static (displacement) and dynamic (vibration) values. The system is mainly used for vibration and displacement measurement of sliding bearing machinery, as well as key phase Keyphasor * and speed measurement.

The 3300 XL 8mm system is our most advanced eddy current sensor system in terms of performance. The standard 3300 XL 8mm 5-meter system also fully complies with the American Petroleum Institute (API) 670 standard (4th edition) developed for mechanical configuration, linear range, accuracy, and temperature stability. All 3300 XL 8mm eddy current sensor systems can meet this performance standard, and the probe, extension cable, and preamplifier are fully interchangeable without the need for separate matching components or workbench calibration.

Each component of the 3300 XL 8mm sensor system is backward compatible and interchangeable with other non XL 3300 series 5mm and 8mm sensor system components. For example, when there is not enough space to install an 8mm probe, a 3300 5mm probe is usually used instead.
